DESCRIPTION:Understanding the Benefit and  Logistics of Dairy and Crop Farmers Sharing Manure   	CCE  Cayuga County, Cornell CALS PRO-DAIRY, and the SCNY Regional Dairy &amp; Field Crops Team, will host their March shop meeting &quot;Understanding the Benefit and  Logistics of Dairy and Crop Farmers Sharing Manure.&quot; The event is  designed to connect dairy and crop farmers interested in exploring  manure-sharing arrangements as a practical strategy for reducing input  costs and improving nutrient management on both sides of the equation.  No registration is required — doors open at 12:30 PM. 	The  afternoon will feature presentations on the agronomic value of manure  and nitrogen calculations, followed by a producer panel discussion  covering real-world experiences with receiving and exporting manure,  reducing commercial fertilizer costs, and overcoming common logistical  barriers.
