Sara has always been a curious learner and loves hands-on projects that leads to discovery. She has a M.S. in Food Science and Technology from Cornell University and a B.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College. She is on the Geneva Public Library Board of Trustees and organizes around LGBTQ issues. Sara is a mom of one and enjoys family hikes and visits to the lake. Before coming to 4-H Sara worked in food safety, agricultural research, and early childhood education. Sara’s favorite activities outside of work and being a mom include food preservation and vegetable gardening and creating art collages and pysanky. Sara is excited to encourage youth to become lifelong learners and engaged citizens of Cayuga County.
