Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cayuga County offers research-based resources and education to our farming community, and addresses the overall goals of our county Ag & Farmland Protection Plan. Educators help farms to remain viable and profitable businesses by providing comprehensive, research-based information on field crop production and soil health, nutrient management from both commercial fertilizers and manure and water quality management both on and off the farm land base. In addition, information is available on animal husbandry, business planning and marketing and diversification of farm products.
