Cornell Cooperative Extension Cayuga County proudly staffs and manages the Taste NY Market which opened in November 2018 inside the NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center/Auburn Welcome Center at 25 South Street in Auburn, NY.
The market carries more than 500 products from 90+ vendors. Each Taste NY Market (there are 70 throughout the state) carries hyper-local products from the county where they arelocated and immediate surrounding counties. Taste NY gives producers in NY a platform to sell their product who do not have a store front. Many producers that have their products at a Taste NY market first started at farmers' markets and then got their products into a Taste NY Market to then have their business expand to opening their own store front or selling to other local farm stores, small grocers and opening online stores. Taste NY was created to help promote and showcase all the amazing products that are made in NY state.
The Taste NY Market at the NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center is staffed and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Cayuga County through a grant overseen by NYS Ag and Markets.
And we think you will, too! Visit the links below representing some of the more than 90 vendors whose products can be found in the TasteNY Market at the NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center. Stop by our store for one-stop-local-shopping for gifts for family and friends, or for yourself!
