4-H Youth

Welcome to 4-H in Cayuga County! Nationally, over 6 million youth belong to 4-H. In Cayuga County, we offer local and county-wide 4-H clubs, community outreach, connections to 4-H camps and statewide 4-H activities. Our programs promote healthy lifestyles and confidence in youth within our county in through their participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) events, Positive Youth Development, Public Speaking competitions, the Produced in New York food competition, Animal Science events, county and state fairs, and various club activities. Our Mission

The mission of the 4-H Youth Development Program is to create supportive learning environments in which diverse youth and adults reach their fullest potential as capable, competent, caring citizens. Youth in 4-H Programs range from five to nineteen years of age.
