The CCE Cayuga SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator will implement a menu of existing SNAP-Ed educational programs and program activities for residents of Cayuga and Seneca Counties. This position provides input into the planning for and conducts the implementation of public education to improve healthy food and lifestyle choices among low-income families and individuals encompassing all age groups throughout the Finger Lakes Region and Cayuga County. As part of the SNAP-Ed regional program, this position works closely with other members of the Northern Finger Lakes SNAP-Ed Team, including assisting the Project Director in Wayne County with program delivery. This position will be responsible for the delivery of established SNAP- ED programming to community groups and will deliver other established SNAP-ED programming and activities, both on-site and off-site, in the community, in accordance with the Nutrition Program Area’s Plan of Work. Also, this position will also coordinate all administrative aspects of the SNAP-ED Program and will assist the with marketing efforts for SNAP-ED programming.
