CCE-Cayuga is seeking County residents with diverse interests and backgrounds to serve as At-Large members of its Board of Directors. Board members guide and shape the direction of the organization’s many programs, oversee its finances and operations, select and evaluate the performance of its director, and other duties that help to ensure CCE-Cayuga effectively meets the current needs of Cayuga County residents.
New board members would serve a 3-year term from January 2025 through December 2029, with an option to continue for a second term. Our Board of Directors usually meets on the third Thursday of the month from 5:30-7:00pm. There is no financial commitment required to serve.
Founded in 1914, CCE-Cayuga provides free or low-cost classes, workshops, services and information based on current research from Cornell and other Land Grant universities across the nation. Its programs are created in response to community identified needs, on topics that include agriculture, environmental issues, food and nutrition, 4-H youth clubs and activities, home gardening, and more.
