Learn more about how to keep health and cost records for 4-H project animals including Market Auction animals. We will go through all of the records that are in the project book for the Market Livestock Auction to make sure youth and their adult helpers feel confident turning in a fully complete project book at the end of the project. Record keeping is important for youth who are raising a project animal but not auctioning it as well.
State Veterinarian Dr. Rebecca Goodale will present information on how to have a healthy and safe fair and how to keep good health records and why health records are important.
This event fulfills the Market Livestock Auction requirement for a record keeping workshop.
