Growing Hope Container Gardens for Seniors

Workshop and volunteer opportunity for youth helping with food insecurity for seniors. 4-H received a Growing Hope grant to plant 18 large container gardens for seniors. All materials provided. Those without a green thumb can flex their artistic muscles and craft beaded plant stakes and to document the workshop to help Growing Hope and 54-H tell the story of 4-Hers giving their hands to larger service! 
This event fulfills the non-animal agriculture requirement for Market Livestock Auction.
Youth do not need to stay for the entire time but should plan on at least an hour to complete a pot.This event is free. An adult should plan on staying with youth under 14.
