Cornell Cooperative Extension Cayuga County is excited to offer our residents a great deal on North America's #1 selling backyard compost bin. Thanks to a grant from NUCOR, we can offer the first 45 Cayuga County residents an additional $20 off the already discounted price of  $59.95 (which is still 40% off retail price) for a total cost of $39.95.  Preorder your Earth Machine now, Limit 1 bin per household. This program is only offered to residents of CAYUGA COUNTY.

NOTE: there are still 35 bins available at a special discounted price of $39.95 as of 5/1/17/2024.  When those are gone, the price will revert to $59.95 (40% off retail price).  A 3rd party vendor is managing the sales website and we were misinformed on the status of the bin stock.  We apologize for the confusion.

How To Order:

First you PREORDER and PAY for the compost bin, and/or optional supplies. After you complete your purchase, you schedule a time to pick up your compost materials on TUESDAY JUNE 18 from 2:00pm-6:00pm, on the link below.

NOTE: The sale runs May 1st to May 31st, 2024 and all purchases and cancellations must be received by 11:59pm on Friday, May 31st, 2024, no exceptions.After the sale ends the bins are shipped direct from the manufacturer to the county so earlier pick ups are not an option.
