4-H Animal Care Workshop

When: Saturday, April 12, 1-5pm

Where: CaroVail 55 Columbus St., Auburn

What: Learn more about how to care for your 4-H project animals. Youth who attend the YQCA training can get their certification for just $3 (usually $13) with pre-registration here. YQCA certification is REQUIRED for all youth who want to show or auction a project animal at the 4-H Youth Fair. State Veterinarian Dr. Rebecca Goodale will present information on how to have a healthy and safe fair. Youth can visit Livestock Skillathon stations to learn more about feedstuffs, meat cuts, and livestock breeds. Youth participating in the Market Livestock Auction can stop learn more about how to write and present a Buyer's Letter successfully.

This event fulfills the Market Livestock Auction requirement for YQCA certification and for writing or public speaking training. See full list of requirements here.
