Seed Money Campaign

Help Seed to Supper Grow!

Have you heard of the SeedMoney Challenge? It’s a 30-day crowdfunding challenge that helps community food garden projects raise funds and compete for additional grant funding!

The Master Gardener Volunteer Program at Cornell Cooperative Extension Cayuga County  is participating to support Seed to Supper, a free program that helps adults learn how to grow their own food on a limited budget. Through hands-on learning, participants build practical gardening skills and confidence while discovering how to grow fresh food at home.

What will the funds support? Seeds and seedlings Gardening supplies and soil Composting demonstrations Educational materials and hands-on learning opportunities

Mark your calendars: November 15–December 15, 2026!

Our campaign page goes live November 15, when you’ll be able to make an online contribution to support Seed to Supper. Every dollar raised will help us provide supplies and learning opportunities for our 2027 program, and we’ll have the chance to compete for additional grant funding through the challenge!

In the meantime, help us spread the word by sharing this post!

Let’s grow gardening skills and confidence across Cayuga County, one seed at a time.
